Accomodation & Social Events

Organizing Committee offers two options for the attendees who will stay in Vienna during symposium:

  1. Hotel Allegro,

Hotel management has reserved  46 rooms for the attendees to the symposium from August 27th to September 1st.(incl.). Conformation and payment is required until the end of June. In getting in touch with Hotel personnel, it is desired to specify that you and your companion(s) are the attendies of the “The International Symposium for Production Research 2018”.

It is a three stars Hotel. Their discounted prices are as follows:

Double room price is 52 €, including breakfast per night.

Single room price is 90 € , including breakfast per night.

Additional bed for one child is 30€, including breakfast per night.

Hotel Allegro is in a central location of Vienna.  It takes 15 min. at a normal pace walking from Hotel to Technical University.

Transfer from airport to the hotel is available at a cost of 30€ and will be provided for the guests who wish.

  1. The TU Vienna has concluded cooperations with ten selected hotels in the vicinity of TU-Wien. The attendees can benefit from discounted rates for the duration of the event / conference/symposium (translation of the first two sentences in the hotels catalog)

The following events are organized during the symposium as well:

  1. Vienna city tour. It will be held in small groups taking into consideration the free hours of the guests

(10 € per person)

  1. A tour to the suburb of Vienna, including a trip to the underground lake and the Austrian historic vineyard village with a diner.

(70 € per person)

  1. Classical music concert.

(45 € per person)

 

  1. A tour to Hallstatt – Salzburg

A whole day tour, from 7:30 to 19:30 with private transportation vehicle. Austria’s oldest and possibly most photographed village. Something like a mirage in the Salzkammergut Lake Region.
